Everett went to the doctor and weighs 18.7 lbs and is 27" tall. He wants us to keep feeding him cereal and start baby food. Ev has started trying to crawl and pushes off his feet. He's getting better at it every day and now he can get pretty far but drags one leg. You can lay him on the rug with his play mat + blanket and then in a few minutes he will be all the way over on the hardwood floor. We tried feeding Everett pears. He was so funny! He spit them out, made the worse faces and acted like he absolutely could not swallow it. Poor guy. I thought he was going to love food. He has really been acting like he was interested in ours. I hope he finds something he likes. I'm going to try homemade applesauce next...
Ev has now had pears, apples, avocado, sweet potato, sweet peas, green beans, asparagus and bananas. He gets excited to eat, opens his mouth wide, makes noises and loves his cereal. He also really likes the apples. I thought he was going to hate sweet peas with mint but I think it's probably been his favorite! I've been pureeing most of what he eats and freezing it in ice cube trays. It was a lot easier than I expected and I plan to continue making most of what he eats.
I write during the whole month and then post, so he actually just turned 7 months.
